Joy (2015)

I know I’m kind of alone on this, but I thought Joy was great!  Jennifer Lawrence gives what I believe to be her best performance since Winter’s Bone.  She carries the movie like a professional, covering up potential dry moments.  The way that herself and the other actors interact with each other on screen is fantastic.  I found its story to be incredibly interesting and well-executed.  It may get a little too sentimental with its delivery at the end, but everything that came before makes up for it.
